"SCAM" or not

for all the people that like to say this new thing im doing is a scam... ask yourself.. do you really know ANYTHING about it at all? or do you just assume. i admit, when i was told about it i didnt like it. but it was a friend of mine for about 13 years so i trusted him and met with alot of people and they taught me about it. there are some pretty big respected people involved in this in the des moines area.

now what is the point of a scam? to steal money from you? well you dont give any money away with this, you simply buy stuff and get amazing discounts onthings. and when you refer people to the site and they buy things, then you get rewarded for it. yes, itis set up like a pyramid, but that doesnt mean its a scam.

microsoft designed the whole system. there are many fourtune 500 companies involved. other large stores like barnes and noble, shop.com, office max and so many more are involved. and their are about 500 stores on a waiting list to get in on this. now ask yourself... why would all these compaines give great discounts to people on the site, and even be associated with a "scam".

maybe its becuase its not a scam. it works becuase with companies seeling stuff online, they dont have to open as many stores accross the country. look at gateway... ever wonder where there stores went? look it up, you will find out that their online sales were so go that they decided to close all of their stores and sell onling through there site and quixtar.

where does the money from this site come from? they dont advertise at all. most companies spent 2/3 of the profit on adds. quixtar doesnt do that, they put the money right int he peoples pocket that are getting the word out. and for that reason they are one of the worlds largest debt free companies. you gett paid for promoting, is that a scam?

why do some people loose time and moner trying this? its because its not easy? it takes time going out and finding people and getting them to join. and its becuase eveyone assumes that its a scam. its very hard getting people to listen. but if you knew how it worked, and came to a meeting then you wouldnt say it was a scam anymore. but alot of people join and really try but they dont find anyone to join. if you dont find anyone to do it, then your done, its not gonna work. but if you keep trying and you find people to join, then your set and your making money. but it is work, its not free money and its not get rich quick.... but for those that fail its becuase they didnt try to hard.

well, im just gonna say this.... dont call it a scam if you dont know about it. and dont say you know about it if you really dont. you might know about something like it, but thats not this.

we have good marks with the BBB and the FTC... and the federal trade commission has actually set our system as the started for ecommerce marketing. now why would the FTC approve a scam? and with over 4,000,000 people involved in the company dont you think a scam would be shut down alittle faster.

WHAT THE BBB SAYS...

Nature of Business

Quixtar Inc. is a Web-based e-commerce business launched September 1, 1999. Quixtar offers consumer shopping, membership benefits and business ownership opportunities on the Internet. Quixtar operates using a form of marketing called "referral marketing" or more commonly, "direct selling." Independent Business Owners (IBOs) powered by Quixtar refer customers to www.quixtar.com for products and services and earn income based on sales resulting from their referrals and on sales made by other IBOs they have registered. Each IBO's individual success depends upon his or her own efforts and the selling efforts of those whom they register.

Quixtar offers two additional levels of participation: Client and Member. Members are retail customers who register with Quixtar and pay an annual fee of $19.95 to buy product at preferred pricing. Clients are retail customers who can shop the Quixtar Web site without a charge, but purchase products at full retail prices. All Members and Clients must register with a Quixtar IBO; if they do not know one, Quixtar can refer them to one in their area.

Customer Experience

Based on BBB files, this company has a satisfactory record with the Bureau.

To have a "Satisfactory Record" with the Bureau, a company must be in business for at least 12 months, properly and promptly address matters referred to it by the Bureau, and be free from an unusual volume or pattern of complaints and law enforcement action involving its marketplace conduct. In addition, the Bureau must have a clear understanding of the company's business and no concerns about its industry.

now you guys go ahead and think what you want about this. but why would all these companies be involved with a "scam".. and why would the better business bureau give them good marks.... oh, maybe its becuase you being iggnorrant and calling it a scam while knowing nothing about it.

well im doing this regardless, buecause i have some good people teaching me how to do it. and if you want to keep your opinions that is fine, but if you wanna learn more about it then let me know becuase there is alot of money out there in online selling, you just have to know how to get it and be motivated enough to find people and teach them about it. becuase if you dont teach others about it then you cant succeed.
