Before I say anything else: WHAT THE FUCK WAS WITH THE BANGING AND YELLING LAST NIGHT? Was it to do with that party I've been hearing about? Damnit! Why did I choose flats filled with students....don't they do small homes with no students near by that aren't a fortune around here?
Yes, anyway, Roderich! The white heather worked, I won my place the contract. It's for a bridge for cars and pedestrian that's going to be built.
It'll still be a year or two (depending on workforce and other conditions) before it'll actually be open but that's my first big piece of success here so I'm pretty chuff with myself.
My mum has placed it apon herself to send me 'home comforts' every month. Usually it's Irn-Bru and bars of Dairy Milk chocolate and silly postcards with Kilt jokes. This month, as well as the usual, she's sent me a top.
Heh, I miss Scottish weather...not the only thing miss but still....
