Well shit, where do i start... I had i very long very good talk with Karli, we got somethings out of the way and have a lot better understanding of whats going on. I went to pickup Sarah and Kelli to take them to San Diego and Rommy decided to join us as well. It was a nice drive we got there pretty quick (i was driving of course). I almost got a ticket for doing 105MPH but the Ferrari got it instead! It was crazy!!! When we got there we ordered pizza and watched a movie with Sarah's dad at his house. This is where the adventure really starts! So Rommy and i leave her house and head north back home, but wait Mexico is just 30Mi south. So we turned around and headed south, its now 12:15am. On the way there we went over the normal Mexico ground rules: bring cash, don't talk to anymore too weird and above all don't drive in! i didn't want my car getting stolen or us getting pulled over and sent to jail, my car impounded and so on and so forth. So much for that, Rommy missed the last exit on the US side and we found ourselves in my car in Mexico. As we entered the country we noticed that none of the street signals worked and no one really had any regard for our presents there. We immediately look for the way out and find ourselves going in several circles. Finally we see a sign that said San Diego 5Fwy we followed it. Mind you Rommy wanted to drive home so he is driving my car this whole time. We find ourselves heading toward the US but in the wrong lane, we managed to take the tour bus lane and told the Boarder Patrol agent we went the wrong way. He took our drivers licenses and all the info off my car searched the trunk and sent us to secondary inspection. We get there and speak to another guy that now has all our info and searches the whole car (including the trunk again), only to tell us we can't go back to the US here's ours Licenses and have a good time going around again to get in the correct lane this time. Once again back in Mexico. This time we tried a different route, not good. After driving on some freeway where the speed is measured in Kilometers we drove farther south looking for a place to get off and turn around. About 20 more minutes of driving and we finally get off. We don't know where we are, no cars have US plates people are roaming the streets and allot of mariachi music is playing, its now 1am. We are now going west and find a gas station. Rommy decides to pull in and attempt to ask directions. Rommy were in Mexico i don't expect the guy in the gas station to speak english. He didn't... "Where is the USA?" "no ingles" "U...S...A" "no ingles senior" GREAT! So we pull out of the gas station going the wrong way. Rommy makes an illegal U-turn and we find ourselves on train tracks...wow... Finally we got back on the road going with the flow of traffic, and going the right direction... or so we think. We are back on the freeway going deeper into mexico. Now we know the drill so we exit as soon as possible. I tell Rommy to make a right... he says no, but finally listens. Oops... we are back on the freeway. So then he gets off ONE LAST TIME and follows the signs back up to San Diego. We began a new adventure, or more of a game... its called dodge the traffic. As I said before the street lights were not working so people just... well they just went. We avoided several accidents as we drove by office depot, budget rent a car, costco, and Mexicans. Finally made our way to a line heading to the US BORDER. But wait there's more!!! While we were in line there are stores as everyone knows. Rommy and i wanted Fireworks. Rommy starts yelling for someone so they all run up to the car and offer us all kinds of stuff. We parked and got out and talked to these guys. We bought 8 M80's, i asked about mota, the guy spoke broken english said, "no mota but i got ice". Rommy and i looked at each other with our jaws dropped! We didn't take him up on the offer... The price was right though. 35pesos for more than enough. We thanked Victor and told him we would see him soon. J/K We are almost home. we wait in line and this guy walking back and forth between the cars is selling random stuff. One of the things he had was a Little guitar. Rommy asked how much and the guy said $25. We had $20 spent $10 on fireworks, left with $10. told him and he said for another $7 he would sell it. we didn't have it. He wanted to trade with us and we ended up giving him $10 5 water bottles and a pack of M&M's. We wanted this guitar. We got out of the country at 2:15am. We didn't want to go back to LA so late so we slept in my car in front of Sarah's house. woke up, ate, swam, and drove home... If you lasted this long thank you and this is our story...
