Don't you hate it when you're angry with someone and then, after pondering the situation for awhile, realize you are mostly to blame? I'm in the midst of watching one of my closest friendships fall apart and I honestly don't know what to do. Honestly, I'm thankful I have the uncanny ability to cut people out of my life and be fine with that. I'm not sure if this will be one of those situations...

I went to a great poetry reading today. The poet's name is Wang Ping. Her poetry is so CUTTING and RAW. Simply amazing. I had to go because I have to go to a poetry event for class. I'm incredibly glad I decided to go to this one. It was definitely the highlight of my day.

Jason, if you're reading this, I MISS YOU! I saw the message on my door and almost cried. I need to talk to you. I wish you had a cell phone. I need a hug. :o(

quote of the day: (from my Astronomy lecture)
Professor Jones: "Ok, you're standing at the bus-stop and your friend asks you why the sun shines. What is your answer?"
Student: "Nuclear fusion."
Professor Jones: "No, you need to know that your friend listens to country music and watches pro wrestling. You need an answer that's more simple than 'nuclear fusion.'"
