..and i shall blog.
two days back on sunday, went down to fightworksasia for the brazillian jiu jitsu tournament.
was there to see ming compete, along with iryan and rudy.
also went there to see how the other fighters fair for the tournament.
tired, but it made me a lil happier inside as i get to see good fights.
Thus, good fights = happy roy.
haha !
after the weigh-in, went to eat breakfast.
then we went back up again to see the tournament.
took some pics to entertain myself,
and ming went to warmup at the cage,
the wait was long nigguh.
saw some FightG people,
and some other people from other gyms/countries as well,
bought a shirt there, GUILLOTINE!
saw interesting fights,
also saw Overthrown's vocalist. but he went off earlier for his gig at subsi.
and then it was ming's turn.
ming's first match was a walkover, so technically he won.
unfortunately, iryan and rudy had to go off so no videos were taken for the second one.
can see that ming was quite frustrated after the loss, i myself didnt see how he got submitted.
armbar/triangle choke ???
but cant be blamed luh, most people there are more experienced in BJJ while Ming is MMA orientated and he had just started. so yup, told him that it's good experience and exposure.
his preparation for his fitness is already so impressive to me, guess he needs more practise on the grappling and technique.
every failure is a step closer to success d00d (Y).
