mochitastic taehyung was being weird again (not that he isn't everyday). they were supposed to be practicing the dance and he was goofing off, making his own choreography, singing awfully just for fun. jungkook was staring at him moving all around the room, able to make fun by himself as everyone else was just rehearsing their own things. that's what he was supposed to be doing too, but taehyung spinning around from one side to the next then messing with hoseok until he smiled and jokingly pushed him away was more interesting.
it's some special trick he has. to be incredibly annoying but a lovable annoyance. he even walks straight up to yoongi and is able to get him to sing off key and faking like they're trying so hard. it's hilarious actually and jungkook smiles, right as taehyung turns in his direction. right away taehyung points at him, walks over in a trying-too-hard seductive way that just makes jungkook laugh. taehyung manages to grab him by the hands and smile that dopey, large smile that makes jungkook smile back. so, he lets himself be twirled around, dancing a bit around the room to appease taehyung. and taehyung gives that large smile again before yanking jungkook forward so they're close, incredibly close, close enough that if taehyung had pulled them 5 centimeters more it would have been a problem.
he still has that smile, wider even, and jungkook's face grows very hot and his stomach feels weird. so, jungkook pushes taehyung backwards, away, not close, because it's weird.
"you're so annoying hyung." jungkook says, not that it fazes taehyung in the slightest. he probably tries to rack up as many 'you're strange' and 'you're annoying' as he can in a day. the pout he gives isn't making jungkook feel guilty at all.
"let's go back to practicing, yeah?" namjoon calls. and as much as taehyung was goofing off before, he immediately turns around and heads to his spot in the formation.
jungkook stomach takes a while to settle.

itachibana13 jungkook has had better days. if you forget about waking up in the strangest predicament of his life, you still have all the hyungs prodding and teasing him. and cooing, which he honestly hates the most. this shouldn't be happening to him. if anyone would be a cat in the band it would be yoongi. well, jungkook's not actually a cat, not yet. he's only got the ears and the tail, but that's annoying enough. not because they're there, he's gotten quite used to the tail actually and the ears are just ears, but because everyone keeps gawking at them. or touching them. or petting him. which jimin is doing right now and-
"stop," jungkook frowns.
jimin pauses mid pat, then gives a sheepish smile. "sorry." jungkook just continues frowning and focuses back on the phone in his hand. he's got nothing else to do. can't go outside, don't want to practice, no one else is home.
this time his ears are being tugged at. "hyung," he groans. "i'm not actually a cat, stop. it's annoying."
jimin gives another tug, but pulls back his hands afterwards. "i never had a cat before-"
"i'm not a substitute."
"yeah, but it's basically just as cute." jungkook rolls his eyes just to earn jimin ruffling at his bangs.
"that's such a jin thing to do. stop." jimin grins wide, then does it again. "hyung!"
"maybe you should keep them, it takes away from the big hulking maknae image."
"i'm not big and hulking!"
"of course you aren't, kitty kookie," jimin coos.
jungkook blinks, trying to absorb what just happened. kitty kookie. he glares, "what?"
jimin pets at his head again, "kitty kookie." and that's it. jungkook throws his phone on the couch then tackles jimin backwards.

lazychaoz yoongi can't believe he's being tutored by this freshman when he's a junior. he can't believe that hoseok assigned this jimin kid, who doesn't even look like a freshman, as his tutor. he also can't believe that dance tutoring (for an after school club he only joined because hoseok begged him to) was a thing.
jimin is smiley, much too happy, and entirely too invested into dance for yoongi's taste. he's like a second hoseok and yoongi barely keeps up with the original. especially with the way he's trying to explain to yoongi why dance is important, what each move represents, and something else; he zoned out a long time ago.
"are you listening to me?" jimin's frowning at him. it's an annoying frown.
"no." yoongi says, then stands up to turn on the music because he's done with listening to jimin explain the logistics behind it. truthfully, he doesn't care about dance. he wants to get the routine down, help hoseok enter the competition, then leave. the history behind each move is not at all an important matter to him.
jimin groans. "why did you even come then?"
"to learn the routine." yoongi presses play on the music and sits by the computer, "so do the routine for me."
"you don't learn that way," jimin crosses his arms, which is even more annoying.
"yes i do," yoongi says.
jimin sighs loudly, but when yoongi restarts the music he gets into position, frown still etched on his face. as soon as the music starts yoongi already sees a shift. jimin's annoyance is gone, his happy-go-lucky self is gone. it's just him dancing to the music, entirely focused. and he hits everything perfectly, sharply, but it's so smooth and fluid.
it's almost as good as hoseok.
the music stops and yoongi claps, but the frown is back on jimin's face and he could have possibly took it for sarcasm. especially with how he goes over and takes yoongi's hands, pulling him up.
"you do it then." jimin pushes him to the center and takes yoongi's spot.
"you're supposed to be helping me," yoongi says, but jimin turns on the music and is staring straight at him. so yoongi sighs and tries to do the same thing, actually trying because he wants to show he's not completely awful and that he does care a bit. and he's lost in the what move goes on what beat and don't go too fast, but don't lag behind and then there's something touching his waist and he freezes.
"what," jimin says, "i'm helping, your back needs to be straighter and your legs need to be more together."
"i can do that," yoongi scowls and edges out of his grip. "restart the music, then?"
jimin stares at him, before cracking a smile. an annoying smile that yoongi wants to knock off. "let's just fix your steps up until there, okay?" and yoongi doesn't get to give his okay before jimin is a few steps next to him, already launching into an explanation of how he's supposed to be standing verses how yoongi actually did it and what he needs to change. exactly like hoseok does.
and when yoongi can't get a certain step right, jimin personally butts in to help by moving his arm the right way or his hip or his leg. then gives a smile whenever yoongi squirms and snaps that he can do it himself.

lazychaoz there's certain undesirable elements about his mom being the one to take in all the neighbors kids as the adults go to work. while he likes kids, he likes children in certain circumstances, not for three hours at a time when his mother calls him in because she has to go and do her chores for the day. most of the time the kids can play by themselves with the coloring books or blocks or various other toys, but sometimes there's fights or crying and hyosang can't deal. and today is even worse. he was supposed to go shopping with seokjin, supposed to show him that area downtown where he hangs out with all the rapper hyungs, but his mother called and he's at home. at least seokjin's here, nice enough to come and keep him company or help him out if the kids get antsy. (hyosang thinks that was an excuse because seokjin voluntarily goes to play with the kids and looks entirely too happy. not that hyosang's upset or anything.)
hyosang's counting down the minutes because his mother's twenty minutes is at least an hour and it's already at minute forty four. then, there's a tugging at his sleeve and he looks over to see a kid (minhyuk, he thinks, or is that the one with the spiked hair) looking up at him, smiling.
"hyung, can we play?" he asks.
hyosang bends down, "hmm? what would you like to play?"
minhyuk(?) grins wider, "princess in the castle." he says it loud enough so everyone hears and runs over, surrounding hyosang and shouting out numerous 'me toos' and 'i wanna plays.'
"alright, alright," hyosang smiles. and seokjin walks over, eyes curious. "well we need a princess-"
"i don't have to be the princess this time." jungmi shouts. she's probably the rowdiest one there, but the only girl so the other's make her the princess. whenever hyosang tries to make it one of the boys, they always pout and sulk, when hyosang volunteers, they can never pick the knight.
"okay, well-" hyosang looks among all of them, noticing they're not trying to make eye contact. "then...seokjin will be the princess. how about that?" jungmi smiles brightly, while the others laugh.
"seokjin-noona!" one of them calls out.
"now you all go to the next room and make up your plans, okay? we'll be in here setting up our towers and protections." they all gave a resounding yes before scampering away, already shouting to each other different strategies. hyosang grins after them, then turns to the very confused princess seokjin.
"hyosang-"
"hyosang-oppa," hyosang corrects, grinning. "you're a princess remember."
seokjin frowns, "what are we doing?"
"well," hyosang starts, then goes over to move the chairs. "you're the princess and i'm you're knight. you hide behind this barrier of chairs i'm going to build, then the kids come in and fight me to get to you." seokjin stares at him. "not actually fight. i tap them once and they're down, while they have to tap me on my legs and arms to kill me. if they manage that, they take the castle and you. simple." and hyosang's managed to put up a barrier of chairs around seokjin.
"seems way too easy."
"yeah, they like it because they usually win. but don't worry, princess." seokjin rolls his eyes and hyosang laughs, before leaning in and placing a hand on seokjin's cheek. "i will fight until my dying breath for you." for one second, he's able to enjoy the surprised eyes and pink tint on seokjin's cheeks, but then he's pushed away.
before seokjin can reply, his usual stuttering 'whatever' and saying hyosang's so weird, the kids rush in with loud battle cries which probably carry over into the neighbors and down the streets.
