But braces only move teeth around; they can't change the size of them.

I have no idea! If you didn't want your teeth moved around, then you've got a useless hunk of metal strapped to your face.

You know, belt sanders! Those things that grind down wood into smaller pieces? I don't think dentists use them to re-size teeth like yours...

... but I don't know either.

Did the dentist say how long you'll need the braces? Hopefully you won't have to pass through any metal detectors between now and then.

I'm sure it's horrifically painful! Plus, the sound of belt sander-on-teeth has to be an awful shriek!

i have this sneaky plan where i am going to a wizard dentist myself so he can fix my teeth magically!
