Wooooaaaahhhhhhhh. Just woah. What a great day. What a fantastic, insane, long, loud, exhausting, AWESOME day.
I love my life, and thus am high on it.
Well, I'm not high on it anymore, I'm just sitting here completely content with my life. Oh God, life is good.
Dexter was hopelessly mediocore but for the fact that I had three GROVES judges in my first three rounds, the best in the biz and they gave me 1/100, 2/99, 2/99. Highly monumental moment for me and an incredibly horrible experience when I was really having a bad day, ergo from my bad week. For a day when my performance was absolutely and totally on the rocks and every move I made seemed impossibly empty, and I was completely on autopilot ... well, this was monumental.
One of the Groves judges said I ... could, should, will go all the way to States, if I connect with my audience. Which on any other day than today, I can do. So it's going to be fine, because I know I can do it.
Lexi, Steve, Tom, Krysten ... and me.
Quotes of the night :
"It's hot as balls in here !"
"Multiple ... go away." - Deb Marsh is my hero.
"Holy fuck, my hood is open ... who opened my hood ?!"
"Don't touch my calves !"
"Keep your hands above the blanket ... I CAN'T SEE YOUR HANDS."
"Who takes a fucking charter bus ?! ... Oh it's Groves. Why am I not surprised ?"
"I have been in this car for 2 hours, been up since 4:30, judged difficult rounds and I'm starving....now feed us or I'm going to get violent !"
"I'm the oldest so I get shotgun ... Well, she's got us there."
And of course the ever loved revival of ... MUTINY !!!!
Yeah. Life is good. And my friends are the most incredible people in the world.
