Oh, voicemail. I'm really bad at these. UH. Hello? If I've gotten someone named Maka. Name's Raimundo. I was told that you could tell if I'm a Meister or a Weapon? If you could get back to me when you can that would be cool.

[Maka turns on the screen, looking a bit sheepish.]

Ah, hello... Raimundo? This is Maka. I'm sorry about not being here to get your call sooner, but I'd be glad to take a look now.

If you could just turn on the video function of the communicator, I should be able to see it clearly.

[Grins.] Yeah? Awesome.

Cool! So uh, anything I should know about this? Meisters are the wielders, right?

That's right.

The first step would be finding a partner. There are a lot of Weapons around who don't have partners yet, and classes should be able to help you meet some of them.

Oh! And you might find you have a new ability. Mostly a Meister just wields their Weapons in battle, but sometimes they can have a certain skill for themselves, too.

[Nodding.] Liz told me a little about it, thanks for uh, clearing it up. Have any idea what kind of abilities these are? Any chance they're anything like my old powers?

No problem! Unfortunately, there's no way to tell what your ability is until you're able to bring it out on your own, but I have heard a few people have gotten abilities similar to those they had at home.

I think it depends on what kind of powers you had before, because from what I've noticed, some people get ones that are similar from home and others don't.
