Listening to the storm door bang
It hasn't closed completely in some years, and the wind grabbed it sometime this morning and blew it open so hard the piece of frame the spring mounts to ripped right in two. So there is more household maintenance in my future, surprise surprise. On the plus side, after the bathroom vent fan ran a little this morning, I guess whatever little bit was banging got worn off or something, because it runs normally now and I've put the grille back on.
Decided not to even drive out to the lake--last weekend their criterion for cancelling centerboard racing was 20, and the forecasts are mostly 20-25. Ordinarily I'd try to find a ride on a bigger boat, but I'm not really feeling up to it today, and I need to try very hard to be in good shape for the J22 circuit stop next weekend. Today's race is not very important, really, but that's huge.
