Note of things to elaborate on after my final papers are done:
a faraway, absent lover
I want my shoulder to be your pillow
To feel your warm breath ghost my neck
Instead I miss the weight beside me
And am breezed with only cool air
I want to be jostled as you settle in your sleep
Hog all the covers; I'll happily fight you for them
These nights I feel bereft, rollover on the too wide bed
Tangle in the sheets instead of my limbs in yours
My restless insomnia gives me time to think
I imagine games and treats to try with you
But the hours and energy I have to waste
Only exist while you aren't here to entertain
Let me curl around you and hum my content
Nudge me when I start to fall asleep
So come back to me, my faraway, absent lover
And remind me not to miss you anymore
(Remind me to stay with you, here together
And let me remind you to never leave again)
Deal with/fix "Iconic"/post w/ images
Attempt some poetry from Ianto's POV (eep)

Metametameta:
Buffy vs. Jack, as always
Buffy v. Jack v. Angel, with some Ianto thrown in
Angel + Spike the apostle
Strength and masculinity in "Buffy", and differences in Angel among A.I. and the Scoobies
Relatedly, Joss's ability to represent discriminated groups (women, youth, GBLT) --> possibly, but unlikely, reference shows like "Supernatural," which kills me with the queer!bashing, who supposedly "can't be expected to."
BBC's "Robin Hood" as a representation of the Middle Ages, and the imposition of modern gender values, or lack thereof.
Post my "What I realized about homophobia within the GBLTQQIA community" with myself as a cringe-worthy case-study. (Trust me, if you're at all interested in this, read it and feel free to hit me with something heavy and appropriately ironic.)
Finish packing and actually MOVE already!
