I don't have much to say about this one:
There are some cute moments, and if the previous two episodes hadn't also been fillers, then I might have liked it more. As it stands, having three one-off filler episodes back-to-back really put me off of this one. :|
I loved Happy reading her latest novel aloud. Lucy's kept her writing very secret, so it was fun to see what she might be working on.
The set up for turning her invisible was super cheesy and dumb even for Lucy (who, while mostly brilliant, does have her little moments now and again). The majority of the episode is spent watching Lucy (and later the guild) try to sort out her situation. Lots of silliness abounds, though it felt more true to the series than the silliness last week.
In the end, friendship and love and all of those warm, fuzzy feelings win the day and make everything right again. I appreciate the efforts they're taking to make the Lucy/Natsu tension more immediate, but it felt a little heavy-handed here. Maybe I'm being too much of a cynic today.
That said, I am super excited for next week. It looks like we'll finally be getting into the story line of this arc! \o/
