Episode 125 - Magical Ball
So here we start an extended anime-only arc for the first time! What did everyone think?
Overall, I thought this episode was cute. :D It definitely was more of a filler episode to bridge the gap before digging into what looks like a quest for some magical item with a new antagonist/guild to butt against (complete with Earthland counterparts of Edolas baddies :D). I'm very excited to see what happens!
But back to this episode - I thought the Velveno bandit was familiar (he was the one they were going to look for when Lucy went to Acalypha to rescue her father. Of course they need to learn to dance to blend in while undercover. I loved the endless fanservice UST with everyone:
The story was short and predictable, but everyone was so cute it didn't bother me. I can't wait for 126!
