i think i'm going to sign up to be a mentor for OMA students- the association where i got my scholarship from. i hope they accept me because i think it will be really cool & fun!
i've been making a bunch of themed mixes on itunes and it makes me oddly happy. the themes include: sunny day, rainy day, good morning, mellow, covers/remixes, acoustic/live, pump up, dance, sleepy.
vietnam is coming soon. with school in session, i feel like it's going to come fast and i'm not going to be ready. i still have a lot of things to buy including disposable cameras, a cd player, summer clothes- it's going to be so hot there. i also need to get my shots! i just bought a cheap waterproof watch, but it's so complicated and keeps on beeping, i just want it to stop!
i feel like i have a thousand things to do, yet i'm not actually doing them. meeting with advisors is at the top of the list. i need to think of questions to ask. i'm kind of afraid to talk with them because after the meetings i tend to feel so overwhelmed, but it's for the best.
also readers, i'm going to keep you updated with realizations i've had.
- grilled cheese is delicious. i started eating it last week
- i really need to follow through with giving up pop. it's going to happen this time!
- thinking and feeling don't really belong in the same sentence
- i'm so tired of being afraid- of a plethora of things. kathy, it's time to get tougher skin and face things head on.
- gaucho pants: i'm not sure if i like the look, but they are the most comfortable things EVER
- mail makes me insanely happy
