today was really fun. and even if school is going to bring a lot of work, perhaps it will be best to keep my mind off of things.
highlights of the day: being back on campus, standing next to pitcock!!, streudels from oxley's, hanging out with erin, cheering on the freshmen for no less than 35 minutes straight [there were a ton of them], seeing freshmen i know but didn't know were going to osu [vikki and anthony!], involvement fair, walking in the rain, getting free things [pens, chips,a plant], picking up football tickets [row 38B...could be worse]. and tomorrow we're going to high street to buy books, osu shirts, see the new sunflower at the drexel!
ummm. school starts in 2 days. i feel so unprepared.
this is random. but sometimes i just want to save the world. the things going on are really horrible.
the cruelty of people...it just leaves me speechless. and what about the things you can't control, like natural disasters? i think that's what makes things like fantasy lands or superheroes so appealing.
and also, i think it's funny that people relate gas prices to how well the state of the country is. honestly, i do it too because it's just been instilled in me, but then i catch myself. sometimes there isn't a correlation between the two.
i'm into quotes again. i thought this was appropriate to my entry.
"We are living in a world today where lemonade is made from artificial flavors and furniture polish is made from real lemons."
