galant and strong you stand at first
feet planted where you stand
but the burning in your calves won't stand for too long
as your legs give out and as the fire burns faster
your too weak to act so strong, to be so brave
just give in as the rest perish
this world is there, balancing the acts of destruction
don't expect the helping hand
as you grip the muddy walls
and the waterfalls anyhow.
the current soon takes you
to the pool of your fate, the lake of your destiny
before you drowned, you think you know better.
as the sun beats down
and you're sinking to death
you notice your life and your arms become alive
you cast to the sea, to where you survive
where the riches don't exist
and the chest of your inheritance sinks away.
as you crawl to the shore
thanking the heavens your alive
the silk suit you wore
is worn by the salt water waves
the skyline is sillhouetted
the people are disappearing
to their warm homes of comfort
similar to where you were
you realize your lose
no job, no wife, no kids, no corporation.
you yell to the sky..
"nothing really matter to me now!"
"I lost my will to live thieving money from the poor!"
"In a God forsaken job where the rich consume the power."
"I wish I was poor so I knew how to live. I've been dead for 30 years."
