On a *happier* note...

My Weekend:

After school on Friday, I had a piano lesson during which I played the bridge of "My Immortal" for the very first time and didn't suck. I then went home and took a speedy shower and packed for Rita's. After arriving at her house about an hour late, I overindulged in junk foods of many varieties while playing improvisation games for hours. Andrea and I were nearly kicked out of her home, as we were trying our hardest to make everything dirty, which blatantly terrified Rita. Can we all think, for a moment, about Andrea and I and Twister? We then watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was even scarier the second time. Then we watched Buffy, which was dandy. I slept on a mix between an air matress, which Andrea hogged, so then I was on the floor, and then I moved to a recliner- it was a very restless night.

Saturday morning we ate a MASSIVE breakfast, then played Catch Phrase and just talked for hours. Julie called and asked if I wanted to go Borders, so I went home and had 20 minutes to try and make myself presentable for both Borders and the Grange. After Borders we went to Ruby Tuesdays, where we observed some very strange waiters. ("I think my leg's broken...") Back to the Crosson household, where Julie and I wondered if we had gotten food poisoning, and then off to the Grange where I met up with Andrea and my sister. Joe and Sean were also there, so we hung out with them, too.

We stood about for several hours awaiting Valencia, and established a fandom for A Hero From a Thousand Paces. But they didn't have a table, so Andrea and I couldn't buy albums, and we were pissed. Valencia played and we were only a few feet from the stage, and George was singing/spitting all over us, but we didn't care because we're fangirls. Andrea left after Valencia was finished, but Mysister!Andrea and I stuck around for Centerview. I don't really know why I remember not liking them, because I actually found them quite enjoyable, even in my intense exhaustion.

During the Centerview show, I purchased a Valencia poster, and pursued the boys to sign it. I now present my new most prized possession:

It currently hangs on the wall above my bed. It's a thing of great beauty.

While getting the boys to sign it, I recieved hugs from Brendan, Shane, and George, whom I've officially dubbed my favorite, because he's a hottie under the Jew fro.

Came home and saw my parents for the first time in 30 hours, chatted, then crashed. It was a lovely, lovely 30 hours.
