And Then, It Was

Actually went on a successful and unplanned shopping trip today. Got yarnish things ((And omg the Boa yarn is a pain and a damn half to knit with... but once I've figured it out I actually rather enjoy it. And it's such pretty colors...)) as well as made out like a bandit with DVDs. 15 Great Cinema Classics with movies from the 30s through the 70s for $4.75, and the first season of White Collar for $15 and Firefly for $16. Also, found my dad's father day gift... which is Babe. Yes, one of my father's favorite movies is about an adorable talking pig.

Got TWO whole yarn needles today after the two in our house mysteriously disappeared. One of these is coming to school with me, the other is living in my room. These ones are mine damnit and I refuse to let them out. >.> They'd be lost otherwise. Which means finally managed to finish the... 7 scarfs I've made in the last two weeks.

Starting to feel itchy in my skin again. Happens every once and a while... usually means it's time for some sort of make over, which usually means haircut. Got some new clothes though, will be doing a massive room cleaning shortly here if I can wait that long, and getting new glasses soon. Still thinking about that haircut though...

So, it occurred to me today, that the 1920s and Victorian era are IN at the moment. It's like... damn, this is my chance to load up on stuff before it goes out! I swear, there are fascinators and steampunk jewelry at Claire's now, as well as Fedoras and the like.  I found a little top hat... at Claires. And pocketwatch necklaces. It was like, wow.
