Is Giddy Excitement an Appropriate Response?
I can listen to Irish music again and not feel terribly travel sick. Why?
Because we're going back this summer.
There are not enough exclamation points on this keyboard to fully express my giddy glee so I'll not even try, and save your eyes from that. XD
In other news: first full week survived. Now it's time to tackle week two.
Going to a historical conference the end of this week, in which I get to present a paper. That's... kinda different and exciting, and especially scary for me considering that I a) cannot speak English worth shit some days ((Really, ask me how to say mediocre and I will say it so wrong)) and b) talk way too fast--when I'm not nervously standing in front of people. On the other hand: whoo free trip with history nerds, since it's through the school so they paid for the whole thing--including meals for two and a half days. Hell yes.
On the downside, I present at the first panel which is 8:45-10:30 am. Baaaaah.
In other news, the Star Wars/CATS cross over is coming along nicely--and by that I mean we're in wrap up on the first film. ... Prolific at this point is just a nicer way of saying "Do you even have lives anymore?"
