I Hate My Brain.
All I want to do is curl up in a corner happily with Dune. Really, really in a Dune mood. I blame this, which is actually the most awesome thing I've discovered ever. I'll probably reread at least Dune Messiah over break... and yes that's because it's the shortest. But honestly, one of my favorites. I just love how at the end of Dune, it's not a fairytale ending so much as a "Look, things have ended as they're supposed to, and things continue on from here..." and then you get to Dune Messiah and it's like "Yeeeeeah, oh boy are things fucked up." It's like, yes, yay, we won, now what the hell are we supposed to do with that victory?
I enjoy that perhaps way too much (And Paul's "Oh god I'm worse than Hitler" speech). Plus, I just love Duncan so Dune Messiah has that going for him too ((Except the Duncan in the fourth book. He could have been squished by Leto and I would have been thrilled.))
