Alone.

We are born alone; We live alone; We shall die alone.

Interesting that this statement is in the plural instead of the singular, isn't it? But honestly, it's never seemed more poignant than it does right now. I've been thinking too much and have once again been pondering mortality, or, more accurately, the lack of immortality for anything or anyone. To an insect our life-span must seem god-like, as must our power to shape the world as we wish, but does that mean that somewhere in the universe there are beings who would see us as insect like and powerless? Perhaps fascinated by our narcissistic nature of assuming everything in the universe revolves around us, and that no other intelligent life is present around us.

Ahh yes, humanity.

And bugger me, I think I might have celiac disease thingie like my grandmother. Wonderful. So I won't be able to eat wheat or rye. Best not assume till I;ve had a test, it could be a medication reaction, but all the same: >_<
