Friday Five
1) This is the 1st of September, what do you want to accomplish by the 31st?
By the 31st i want to have my employment situation sorted out - whether it be permanently or just temporary.
2) What does September make you think about or feel?
September is always a great month for me, it has my birthday, which usually falls on or very near the Autumn equinox, it's the end of summer, so I can get my normal clothing out again, and the kids are back to school so no maore beign woken up at 7am by screaming!
3) September is the ninth month; can you name nine memories so far from this year?
Meeting lots of new people, such as ntsgiggles and dambuster.
Starting at School Lane Surgery.
Being yelled at by junkies for the first time.
Getting some of my poetry through to the 'second look' stage for Fire Pearls.
Falling into Gwen's car. I'll never live that down.
Being totally hooked on Lost. Which is slightly sad.
Spending an entire month with weird drams of being pregnant. That freaked me out.
Reading lots of books on the train to and from Norwich.
Lots of great memories of the kids.
4) What does September have in common with three other months and can you name them?
It has 30 days? Only some twit put '31st' in the first question, and now I am confused. I get confused a lot...
5) The first weekend in September signals the end of summer for many even though it doesn’t really end for weeks. When does summer end for you?
End of July, as in August we always get rain. Rain signifies the end of summer to me.
