Maple-Cranberry Pork Chops

4 well-trimmed center cut pork chops (1/2 inch thick) (Mine are with the bone)
1 cup dry red wine or apple juice (I used apple juice because I don't like dry wine)
1/2 cup maple syrup (I used Canada Maple syrup)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon cold water
2 teaspoons cornstarch

1. spray large none stick skillet with non stick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat until hot. add pork chops; cook 3 to 5 minutes per side or just until browned and pork is no longer pink in center. Remove from skillet; keep warm. (I just stuck my pork chops on Mr. George Forman grill - which I think tastes better)

2. Add wine (or in my case apple juice), syrup and cranberries to skillet; cook and stir over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes.

3. Combine water and cornstarch in small bowl; stir until smooth. Add cornstarch mixture to skillet; cook and stir about 1 minute or until thickened and clear. Reduce heat to medium. Return pork chops to skillet; spoon sauce over and simmer 1 minute.

Prep and Cook time: 20 minutes.
