It seems that a number of people aboard the ship have become children. Though some appear to have retained their intelligence, their emotions and behaviors seem to be those one might expect from a young child, with an inability to process the memories they retain from adulthood; deaths of parents, encounters with inmates, careers, all of them regarded from a child's point of view.
I have spent the past two days attempting to at least locate and record who has been altered; however, my attempts to steer the children into the dining hall have failed, though it seems my concerns that the inmates may revolt have been unfounded, as they, like their wardens, have been affected.
I have, instead, attempted to keep in constant communication with my fellow adults and attempt to maintain some semblance of order. At this time, we can do no more than hope that this phenomenon will subside.
