Sometimes....
Sometimes you have to just do something thats fun
One of my fondest memories from many years ago was wating outside FP when it was in Broadmarsh to get my standing order - latest Xmen was out the second Brood story when Longshot in the team (I think they may have still been based in Australia) and it did not dissapoint (the brood had superpowers and it was a great fight)
Anyway a year or so ago I stopped buying comics for 2 reasons I couldn't afford it and I didn't have the space
Since then I've had a promotion and moved into a 2 bedroom flat on my tod so problem solved
DC are restarting their lines (main universe) 52 titles are starting again with updated origins for some, updated costumes (Wonder Woman still has that Jacket apparently), updated histories for some but not all
So far out of the 48 titles they've revealed I've added 26 to to my wish list the final 4 should be the Superman titles and I've never been massively interested in the big guy
The reset aint happening until September and I'm jumping back in
I'm doing this because I love comics and because I can afford it (normal service will not be affected by this)
Becuase I am quite bad at doing some of the things I should be doing at the weekends I have made myself the following deal
If I can get Flat Cleaned (normal weekend chores), sort out my games collection (properley in otder) and sort out some NPC stuff I've been putting off I'm going to see Thor and Xmen first class tomorrow :)
