I’m not a Republican. I never have been. I don’t believe in political parties. I think they are all what’s wrong with our government. I vote my conscience, and who I think is best for the nation, regardless of party affiliation.
Now that that’s out of the way… When do we stop blaming the prior administration for the sins of this administration? 4-6-8 years into the next administration? I know if I blamed the nine English teachers before I received a student, and he makes no progress, I’d be out of a job. Most employed people can’t blame the guy before them, so why is it ok for politicians to pass a backward-buck?
There are good and bad in every presidency. I thought Bush was incompetent too.
Last "good" president we had was Clinton. Don't like the man at all. Thought he was unethical, but at least he was a brilliant man and understood and had some respect the constitution.
I dislike Obama mostly because he has no respect for the two other branches of government, who have equal power. Wanting change is fine, but change occurs with the support of Congress representing their constituents, protected by constitution law upheld by the Supreme Court. Presidents should never be permitted to circumvent the other two Branches. Where are our Checks and Balances?
