my girlfriend came up for thanksgiving. i picked her up on wednesday night around 6 and we went to Olive garden and i didnt get a chance to take a picture of my food, a habit i’ve picked up from her, but i assure you it was delicious. It was steak Gorgonzola this is what it looked like.
after dinner we came back to my house and chilled and watched TV and did “couple” things.
Thursday was thanksgiving of course and i spent that with my family and i tried making a cranberry sauce that i’ve made a few years in a row now using orange juice and cranberries and sugar, and when i put it in the fridge it didnt solidify it stayed all liquidy which i don’t get so i think i’ll make a juice or something. after that i went and picked up the lady from her aunt’s house and we came back here and hung out some and i totally got her into metalocalypse so we watched most of the first season.
friday the lady came out here via B.A.R.T. and we hung out at the house for a bit before we went out to Oakland and went to Zachary’s pizza oh my lord it is delicious. her dad gave her a coupon for a free large 3 topping stuffed deep dish, on the menu it says that it’s like $27. we got that shit for freeskies.
we came back and watched what was left of metalocalypse season 1 and changed into our old people outfits for my friend’s birthday cuz he’s turning 28 i believe, and that makes him old.
His room mate planned the surprise party and bought him a walker for his birthday.
saturday i had to stay at my house till about threeish and chill with my grandparents till my aunt got here. it was rainy as shit. so i left at like 330 and about half way to the free way i realized i had left my wallet on my bed so i had to drive back and get it. on my way out im driving on the freeway and im not even 5 minutes into driving when it starts to downpour. after about ten minutes of that it just up and stops and the area i’m in is super bright and sunny, like im talking that gold sunlight that hits the light gray wet pavement and reflects up and blinds you so that you cant see anything while you’re driving 70mph on the freeway. needless to say i made it to her empty house safe and sound where it was just her and me and we did some couple stuff and cuddled under blankets cuz it was freezing. i made her watch some of Lord of the Rings: the fellowship of the ring, cuz she always acts like she hates shit like that and ends up liking it. after we got about 3/4 of the way through it we departed for san francisco to go to union square to see the big ass christmas tree they set up every year.
we had some guy take our pictures in front of it.
then we went to the cheese cake factory and had some pretty good food. i’ve eaten there before and had it be mediocre but this time my meal was quite good. we sat up on the balcony and looked down at the people in the ice rink and walking around near the tree. it was rather romantic. then we ordered a piece of godiva chocolate cheese cake which was amazing.
we then went back to her place, didnt know how to light the gas fireplace, sat on her couch and cuddled watching youtube videos. it was very nice.
sunday i woke up feeling kinda sick so i slept it off and woke up later with my eye stinging like crazy. but then i went to go pick up andrea from bart and it still hurt but i endured. We went to Lucca Deli in castro valley to get amazing sandwiches, and oh boy did we.
we headed back to my house and finished up LotR and started on The Two Towers but only got about halfway through before i had to get her to the airport. i dropped her off and was almost at the freeway when i get a call from her saying that her flight had been delayed for about an hour. so i went and got her again and we got sushi at Yoshino’s right near the airport. i got a rainbow roll and miso soup and as it usually is here, it was good.
we ended up having some time to kill so we went over to a starbucks and cuddled out the rest of our time before i had to get her back to the airport before she turned into a pumpkin.
two and a half more weeks and then shes back for a month or so.
color me excited
