Thank you all for the well wishes. the list is long, the names are many and they came in the forms of calls, sms-es & Superwall Posts on facebook. :) whichever, however, Thank you all for remembering my birthday.
Initially, it was kinda disappointing to realise that my birthday would fall on a weekday and a Monday of all days- when everyone else in the world would be busy working/studying, etc. I tried my very best to stay away from the office today- yes, it's nice to know i got today off, not deliberately, but it just so happened. Anyhows, I still had to head back somehow to settle stuff for tomorrow. Filming at 0600hrs is no joke. meaning to say, even if i had plans to go out for cake tonight i had to be good and head home early. Hence, after a couple of hours in the office, I headed home and have since 3pm, spent my b'day entirely playing Scrabulous on facebook.
To my sister & brother-in-law, they're the ones who make me feel younger each year i get older. The loud singing, the cake(ooh merry berries), and the candle-blowing,wish-making ritual. awesome. i love you guys.
This cake is probably the best i had in the longest while. it's so damn good it's reflecting its glory.
And this afternoon in the office i had a plesant surprise! :) my twin, CC left me slices of cake in the pantry's fridge, and presents on my table. :) Thank you my dear for taking time off your crazy schedule to get me pressies :)
This makes a good case for boring meetings / lessons.
I had well-wishes from all over the world too. Wylene tried calling me from the States! all that love from NY. and i never did answer those calls, cos i konked out before 12am last night. :) sorry about that dear.
Because i'm unduly dissatisfied with spending today @ home, i shall declare the entire week, my birthday! :)
