The lil old man @ the tollbooth
ok......check this....as i dropped off ann-marie tonight to meet ryan in new hampshire, i had to get of 95 northbound to get back on southbound.....as i rolled up to the tollbooth at the on ramp the elderly gentleman did not have his hand out.....but instead proceeded to tell me this story(with the snowy conditions there was not exactly a line behind me)but he told me of the lady in the car ahead of me had paid her 50 cents plus an additional 50 cents for the next car that came thru(me)....well....i already had my 50 cents in hand to pay so i to told the lil old man to let the next car thru on me....his response was...."wow....i can just keep this goin all night"....as i drove off it dawned on me that the lil old man probably started the night out by taking 50 cents out of his own pocket to start this little game......i mean it was obvious that he liked to talk or share a good story....but more importantly he was making human beings feel good about other human beings during this most festive time of the year.....i mean think about it....you got 50 cents in your hand ready to pay anyway....and unless your a real cheap fucker your gonna turn around and return the favor that was just bestowed upon you.......right????.....anyway i thought that was pretty cool and very clever of "the lil old man at the tollbooth in hampton new hampshire"......so then i get home and Yoshi and Shawna jeanie call me (we had been talkin on my way home)they called to let me know that i had to go on-line to get the code they had made me for my myspace.....so they connect with me....and send me the code....and low and behold i have Jenna.....i have a cool yellow and red (official FC colors)background!!....my text is all cool!!....to think these little dolls took time on their friday night to do this thing that actully floored me.....cuz i have tried to do something with my page but to no success...ladies...you guys amaze me and i am sincerely touched by your thoughtfulness....when i say i love you two its an understatement!!!...well now the night has wound down and this boy is headin out with patricia rose in the morning for a christmas shopping marathon out to portsmouth new hampshire....maybe i'll go see if the "lil old man" is workin tomorrow night:) and on that note its time to bail!!!!....good tidings of cheer to all!!
