Children of Bodom rocks pittsburgh fucking face off
Last night was the children of bodom concert at Club Zoo in pittsburgh and needless to say i was fucking excited for that. Myself, Dustin, Dave, and Jared arrived at the club around 3:30 even though the concert didn't start till 7:30 we wanted to get in before everyone else. We stood outside with about 30 others that I did not know talked about music, played Hackey Sack and fired off random quotes from Tourette's Guy, Family Guy and other things such as those. When the doors finally opened we got inside and waited for the first band to start. The first band was called Through Deads Eyes or something along those lines they were a hardcore/death metal band from South Carolina, I enjoyed the music alot but the singer as Dustin put it "sounded like a dying Dinosaur." there was lots of violent moshing and thrashing as you would expect with any show. After they were done it was God Forbid's turn to own our eyes. After fighting my way to the front I managed to shake the singers hand a few times, and at one point between songs the singer says "we're going to play something off the old record for you now" so I decided to scream ANTI-HERO!, and the singer points at me and says "you got it buddy and I want to hear your fucking voice needless to say i was fucking pumped it being my favorite song and all. So they finished their set and it was amazing their drummer threw one of his used sticks into the crowd and who caught it you might ask this guy right fuckin here. once they finished i decided it was time to exit the pitting area and find a better viewpoint to watch Children of Bodom, cuz i wanted to enjoy the show no get my ass kicked. Bodom's set was ungodly amazing as i was expecting after the show was over we went outside where i talked to a girl i had met inside she was a very cool person. We then left met my cousin Teddy and headed back to his place to crash for the night. All in all it was single handly the greastest experience of my 19 year old life and the stiff neck, sore back and pain in my knee's was well worth it. that's what i did on my monday what did you do with monday?
