So I have decided since I don't post all that often, because of my voyeuristic nature I read everyone else and by that time I don't feel like posting, I am going to try to write stories from my days teaching. I mean, come on, the kids write it for me. They are so funny and really Kids to say the darndest things!!! And do.....
Ok, so the other day a parent comes walking into my room after school and she says, "I thought you might like to know this" and I prepare myself for the worst and she says, "Natalie came out and had a frog in her backpack and I thought you had better know, just in case anyone else did the same thing."
Apparently, during recess the children thought it might be fun to go and look for frogs, but what I didn't know was that they brought them back into class, wrapped them in tissues and put them in their backpacks. Oh yes, in their backpacks. I had to laugh because the frog actually wasn't dead and they let it go.
I had to have a chat with the class the next day on keeping animals/reptiles in their own habitat and why they live like they do. Hysterical!!!!
