In which I am hopelessly stupid forever and also a liar
Been doing a lot of research / little bit of writing. Feeling my way through the next installment of sawdust, feeling pretty OK about it again, possibly even very good, but am doing the thing where I find myself clenching my jaw when I start stressing about it (which is frequently). Was doing this all the time back during chapters 4/5/6, jaw was sore almost always.
Anyway, I've also been working on drawing up calendars for my own sake, to make sure I don't completely jack up my timeline and to keep things straight in my head. So I took pictures to post here, just because. It counts as fic progress? And this isn't colored yet! So don't judge based on that. It's also not fully filled in; mostly just things that have happened already in the story and where I see the events of canon happening in a general sense.
I'm mostly ballparking with canon, but I feel it works about as well as I can make it. Largely, I've marked episodes as happening either on days that canon mentions specifically or as close as I can guestimate.
I also, naturally, made a calendar that's months/year beginning with the year Jess turned 11, to keep track of major events in Jess' childhood and specific flashback scenes mentioned in chapters. The fun thing about this one, though, is that I originally did the MATH WRONG because I guess I can't do 2001 - 17 + 11. So the years are scribbled out there because I'm retarded.
And yes, I did mark the first assault with an "!" This would be because of the aforementioned problems with my mental functions.
And then, I don't know, I guess I'm all for posting stuff that no one actually cares about, but I was going through old AIM chatlogs last week and found these exchanges, which are funny in hindsight. I am a liar. A stupid, stupid liar.
