Lately
So I went to the doctor today because I really just can't take the pain anymore from the lump on my neck. The docs just keep giving me pain killers and muscle relaxers and they never actually look at it or try to FIX the problem. So this time, I went in there and made the doctor actually feel how HUGE the lump has gotten. It is about 4in in width and 3 in. in length on the base of my neck right on my spine.
When the doctor finally LOOKED and FELT it, he was like...ohh umm sorry but thats a tumor, and its whats been causing all your headaches because its pressing on your spine! He said he thinks it is Lipoma, which is a non cancerous tumor, but its the biggest one he has seen and since its on my spine I have to have a specialist cut it out because they can't do it.
WTF?! I have been complaining about this lump for 3 years! It just keeps growing and becomming more and more painful everyday. I really hate not having good insurance or any money, the doctors just want to brush you off. Argh! Anyway, the good news is that after I get it removed I shouldn't have any of this pain anymore!!! No more headaches!!! I can't wait. They want it removed soon, but I think I am going to do it over thanksgiving break since I will be in Evansville and I wont have to miss too much school. Thats only 2 weeks away. I just hope the pain isnt as bad every day till then like it was today. I took some meds and literally slept ALL day.
