Harry sat in the mouth of the tent shivering beneath his jumpers. He knew he was meant to be on watch but he couldn’t seem to draw his gaze from the small dot marked Ginny Weasley on the worn parchment in his hands.
As he stared at Ginny’s dot, the memory of her hard blazing expression swam before his eyes. He couldn’t stop his mind from racing away from the present and imagining a time when they could be together. Distant though the vision was, Harry clung desperately to it as he stared out into the dark night once more.
