To celebrate one year of this wonderful episode existing, I've done a little picspam of my favourite scenes. enjoy. C:
This is probably my favourite moment. The way they look at each other in this scene just kills me. and Carly's face in the top centre and bottom left/right cap fhkjsdhfsdhskjd. THESE KIDS. and she's all guilty and grateful and he's like "nonono it's not your fault" and my. heart.
Yes, Carly's not actually in love with him and it's her hero-appreciation making her kiss him, but come on. This scene was adorable. Both of them are confused and Carly's like "do I kiss him?!" and Freddie's like "wtf why is she staring at me like that for and why is her face getting closer and oh she's kissing me oh wow mmmmf" and then they have this very passionate kiss that made me wonder if iCarly is really aimed at 'tweens' any more and if that tongue action was supposed to happen because unf
I could probably go on for hours about this scene. This scene is so sad but it's also very, very sweet. Freddie knows that Carly doesn't actually love him and even though he's wanted to be with her for, like, four years he wants their relationship to be real. I honestly think that if Freddie didn't have such strong feelings for her he would have just gone along with it and both of them would have got really hurt. So like, he saves her life and ends their kind-of-relationship so when their time comes they'll have a proper, serious relationship. That's freaking love.
