Yes, they are! I don't even watch CSI but I watched it for him, haha. He was really good; if you ever feel up to it I definitely recommend watching it. :)

By the way - I read what you were saying about Color Balance in GIMP. Generally, combined with Curves, it can make a difference. I have an example for a blend I was making. One was a promo, the other was a screencap, which was very blue. Combining Color Balance and Curves, I was able to get rid of the blue, which you can see below. :)

I haven't actually figured out curves yet, but thank you for the very useful tip. Those pics look great! :)

Curves are tricky. :) I've (personally) found that the curves representing actual colors (red, blue, etc.)are useless. The "Value" channel, however, will quickly become your best friend. :P
