New expletives for work
My designer at work, Green Eggs, and I are trying to come up with new
expletives to say at work.
It started while we were walking through our freezer lab the other day and
one of the liquid nitrogen tanks vented at us.
This involves a loud whooshing noise and a cloud of fog blowing over you.
It was unexpected so we both jumped.
“Tuna fish sandwich,” Green Eggs said.
“What?” I asked.
“That surprised me. Tuna fish sandwich.”
“Is that your new expletive?” I asked him. “When surprised you say that?”
“It should be!” he agreed.
(It turned out that it had been what he had for lunch and was still tasting
it and the conversations were not connected. But, that’s got nothing to do
with it…)
So, these are the things we came up with.
