Dreams of singing pirate shows

Mar 10, 2012 17:32

Last night I dreamed that we were doing a pirate show in Pensacola. We were all out on the joust field getting ready to perform.
But, instead of our usual sword show, we were told that it was going to be like American Idol and we’d have to sing.
I tried to think of a song to sing. But, I’m not much of a singer. So, I sang what I could:
“Old MacDonald had a ship, E-I-E-I-O. And on that ship there was a drip, E-I-E-I-O.
“With a drip, drip here and a drip, drip there. Here a drip, there a drip, everywhere a drip, drip.
“Old MacDonald had a ship, E-I-E-I-O.
“And, on that ship there was a pail, E-I-E-I-O. And, with that pail, he did bail, E-I-E-I-O.
“With a bailing here, and a bailing there, here a bail, there a bail, everywhere a bail, bail.
“Old MacDonald had a pail, E-I-E-I-O.”
Dream ends

I don’t remember ever singing in a dream before. It was very strange.
We have been asked to do a pirate show in June at the same faire ground as the Pensacola faire. I’m sure that is part of this.
Don’t know about the singing.

dream, pirate, show
