Balloons and clunkers
My wife made me a balloon toy that was very cool. It is three balloons tied together. When you try and bat them around the living room they act very differently then just one balloon. It’s very cool.
Walking about town yesterday I saw some of the poison ivy is turning yellow.
I can only hope that means the extra rain this year is bad for it. Hopefully it will cull back some of it as it is growing so far into the road it is hard to walk past.
If the ivy doesn’t like the rain, the loosestrife seems pretty happy with it.
There has been a lot said about the cash for clunkers program.
I’m not sure either of our cars qualify even though they are 14 and 10 years old and have a lot of miles on them.
Part of the deal is you have to get a car that gets better milage then what you turn in. My car gets about 35 highway and my wife’s 37. That’s hard to beat in a modern car. They put up ads saying 24 is good.
Nothing on the job front this week. I haven't even been able to get ahold of my old boss. (He's just back from vacation and I'm sure very busy catching up. And, at least today, I was busy with other stuff.)
