Growing garden

My window box is growing very well:

Most of my care for it involves pouring water on it.

But, today I actually tried to untangle some of the vines.

One of the mellon vines is so long it goes across the corner of the balcony.

The second one isn’t so well as it appears to be in the shadow of the parsley tree. But, I got it some more light so hopefully it will do better now.

My wife doesn’t like shopping and the supermarket is pretty low on her list of places to go. But, as it was still early she was willing to go there with me today.
We tested the bagel groper alarm system. Several months ago my wife found a man groping the bagels and has never been the same. So, I tested to see if they had put in more bakery security.

You can see that if I even pretend to grope a bagel a man in sunglasses appears. I’m sure if I had gone through with it I’d have been whisked away under the domestic security program.

The “artisan cupcakes” I reported on some time ago seem to have fallen on hard times.

There is a new batch not calling itself “artisan” that is much more colorful and $1 less a cupcake.

Those clearly have a lot more add ons then the artisan ones do, so why are they less?
Is there some copyright on the title “artisan” for a cupcake where $1 has to be paid?
I remain amazed that my supermarket thinks it can sell me a $3 artisan cupcake when I can buy the mix for a dozen of my own for about the same price.

Finally, speaking of strange sales practices, there is a new wrinkle in selling gold for World of Warcraft. It’s against the rules, you can be kicked out of the game for it, and lots of people do it anyhow.
They used to whisper offers to me. Then they tried grouping with me and telling me on group chat. Then, just shouting it out in the cities. The WOW people added a “report spam” button that ignored all other communication from that person and reported them at the same time. It was the best button ever.

But, today I found they have a whole new method of doing it that doesn’t let me push the ignore button.

Yes, they spelled out their web site in dead character bodies in the central square of a major city.

I’m not sure why they need my money. Each of those bodies takes a copy of the program ($30) and an account ($15/month). They’ve invested a lot to lie dead on the ground on a Saturday night.
I have a lot more fun playing the game...

photos, adventures, plants, wow
