My wife had not been feeling well, but it wasn’t covid.
A year ago when the company I was working for then when through some big changes I decided to sell off all the stock I had built up over 10 years. (Mostly to let me pay that massive dental bill of having 14 crowns done at once…) There was some worry that the stock would recover and I’d be sad I lost money. On reflection, I think it worked out.
I know a lot of places have gotten snow. We did not get much. It was cold. Around -10C in the mornings.
We’re almost to the point it isn’t totally dark when I go home at night.
Friday was game night. I was happy to go as I’ve missed the last few for various reasons.
There were some new folks attending, so we had enough to play "Captain Sonar". We rarely have the 8 players it takes.
After two games of that we switched over to Dixit.
Today a bit more snow. I had not gotten a chance to do much shopping during the week, so we were low on food. We decided to go out for brunch despite the weather.
I gave up my French lessons after going to France in November. I guess I’ve made Duo Lingo sad.
