Monday the rain was so bad the water flowing through our parking lot came up to my ankles in spots. Glad we live on a hill or it could have been quite deep.
I had a bit of a cough, but the Covid test was negative…
Yesterday when my wife and I went out, there were several hawks flying around our parking lot and looking down at us from the trees. They seemed to have a purpose, but I could not determine it.
My wife has had little luck getting gingerbread folks. I did find her a large one after several places.
That evening we went to the "Holiday lights show" at the botanical garden. Lights, trains, father christmas, and all sorts of other things. Lots of photos of this… https://nebg.org/nightlights/
Normally when we’re there we can see the mountain nearby with its ski area, but not Saturday night.
Our town also does holiday lights on our town common, so we stopped to see them on the way home. The moon was setting too. Due to the lights, I was able to catch it once and a while.
The light ended pretty quickly at edge of the graveyard. Maybe for the best. No one wants to see what’s roaming there at night…
Today we went up to Tom’s house for a fire practice for the Salem shows that start in a week and a half.
