Although weeks into Spring, there is still frost of the roof some mornings.
Apparently my wife will no longer say "I don’t care what kind of oatmeal you get me".
My allergies have been very bad lately.
These little red buds on the ground are always a sign of the worst part of the year for me.
On the way off to game night Friday we noticed one of the local hotels, rumored to be a center of the worlds oldest profession, is under construction and/or demolition. Not sure what impact that has to business.
It has resulted in several folks asking "won’t someone think of the hookers?!"
Of more interest, along the new bridge they built over the lake, some new interesting mosses are growing.
Our game night host is working on putting the birthday present we got him up, but it fell off the wall and caused problems.
(I guess his foot broke the fall. Bad for his foot, but it didn’t break the glass, which is good.)
Our first game was "Quantum Go Fish":

Next we played "The Isle of Cats".
I was the green cat, but that isn’t what cats look like to me…
The game went on much longer than I expected, not wrapping up until almost midnight. The two folks who own cats scored more than 20 points higher than the two folks allergic to cats.
Today was rainy, but still had a lot of pollen. There was one bought of thunder which shook the house.
Some of the clouds looked dangerous.
There were bits of sun and then the rain would return.
