Deep south adventures day 12

Dec 27, 2021 18:28

The ship had charged across the Drake Passage as fast as it could, so when we rounded the horn and were in the more protected waters, we slowed down some.

The water there is fairly shallow and has an interesting green color.

The waves were still high, but not deck 5 high.

As there wasn’t much to do other than pack and watch the ocean go by, we did spent a lot of time in the observation lounge.

We certainly had time for afternoon tea.
