Week in photos
I had bought purple sweet potatoes to try. Normally I get the orange, but this seemed interesting.
They do have an interesting flavor. But, I don’t know how to describe it.
Thanksgiving morning I cooked our breakfast early as I needed the oven for the turkey.
I had the turkey in by 7.
About 12:30 it was done.
So, we packed it up to go to our friends house.
It was fairly cloudy and cold, but, that’s traditional for this time of year.
There were 6 of us together for the holiday and lots of food.
I did have some green peas too, but you can’t see them under the gravy.
Everyone seemed to have enough to eat.
And, leftovers were available.
We played Bands, which is stacking things on other things.
We’re all pretty good at it.
I came in second place with this.
Friday we went back for a game night.
There was a new game Yebo wanted to try.
We spent an hour trying to figure it out. We all agreed that it was very well made and had wonderful pieces, but we couldn’t figure out how to play.
So, we switched to one we had done before.
Of course, we all thought it funny the turkey card was in play.
It does take a while to put away again…
Then, we played the diving game.
When we finished, it was snowing.
