Week in Photos

We’re well into spring so my drive in and home are now in sunlight.

Sadly, this also means it is the height of pollen season. To the point windshield wipers can be used on it.

Near where I work there are a lot of old canals and former train tracks that are now walking paths.

So, Monday I went over to one at lunch and walked about some.

There is an old canal over there, but doesn’t stand out in the photos well.

There are a bunch of birch trees. I remembered my mother telling me that birch blight was a curse by the devil where the devil popped up from Hell and sprinkled a magic death dust on all of them.
Yeah, it’s been almost 50 year since she told me that. I still look up for that dust when I walk under them…

They’re doing some sort of renovations in our apartment’s parking lot. Not sure what.

One morning an apple truck (the fruit, not electronics) flipped going around a corner on a highway I take to work.

I lost 20 minutes to those apples…

The same turn on the next day, in the rain, other trucks did this without flipping.

But, other slow traffic made up for that.

Wild turkeys are roaming my workplace.

Friday there was a big fight at work over these screws and if they are too embarrassing to ship.

This dinosaur wears a hat. Hard to tell in the rain…

My wife took this photo going off to game night on Friday. I really like it. It’s the road where we live.

turkey, spring, photos, rain, traffic
