Quiet weekend

Yesterday my wife went off to our friend Bill’s house. He no longer needed some of the practice weapons his group used, so passed them on to us.
That was extremely kind of him as it was hundreds of dollars of equipment. Even if, as he said, he doesn’t need it any more, it was still very, very kind of him to give it to us.

These will be VERY useful when we are doing the shows where we give lessons to a group of people at one time like the ones we do at Smith College:

He joined us for lunch at the Indian place near where he lives and we had a very nice visit.
We talked a lot about the different challenges our groups are facing. (http://www.hurstwic.com & http://www.phoenixswords.com )

That was about all we did yesterday.

Today I went over to storage to put the new things away with our other items.

Afterwards I drove up to the center of town to do some Pokemon searching.

It was a bit cold and windy, so not a lot of folks around the Pokegyms.

I managed to take over the gym.

Then, I went over to the new library. It was the first time I’ve been there since they rebuilt it.

They have a nice view from there.

One of the services they offer is 3D printing. That’s cool.

I’m not sure about the bathrooms. The sink says "get water on you" to me…

Afterwards I took over the other gym on the center of the town common.

That gave me both gyms in the center of town.

Walking about left me one candy short of finally evolving my Magikarp. I’ve been collecting candy for this since I started playing in July.

Going out to get dinner, I got that last candy and finally evolved it.

viking, pokemon, photos, sword, friends
