Phoenix’s words?

I got a call from the web hosting company we use for Phoenix Swords.

“Hello, may I speak with the owner of Phoenix’s words dot com?” the woman
asked.
“What?” I asked in return.
“Isn’t this the number of Frank Hunt, the owner of Phoenix’s words dot com?”
OK. It took me a moment.
“Yes, it is,” I said. “How can I help you?”
“We’ve been looking at your web site and we think we can save you some
money on your web hosting.”
“You know, I doubt that.”
“No, really!” She said. Of course, I meant the part about looking at our
web site as she didn’t know where the space should be between the two
words. I did not clue her in.

The upshot was she wanted to give me a package deal on the main Phoenix
Swords site bundled with our Phoenix-Faire site.
But, it’s been more than 4 years since we held our own faire. I do not
anticipate doing it again. So, I didn’t buy the bundle.

I’m also told there is some “new big server” where I could move our
hosting. But, the Phoenix’s Word was “not right now”.

The upshot is, if you want to convince me you’ve really been looking at my
web site, at least go to the main page so you can see it is “Phoenix
Swords” not “Phoenix’s Words”.

silly, phoenix, web site
