Ok... I'm going crazy.
There's either a tv show or movie where one of the characters (I keep thinking it was a black actor, but that doesn't mean anything) sees a man of east asian descent and demands that this man read the tatoo he has on his arm. After much coaxing, the asian man says something to the effect that in a relationship between two men, you play the role of the woman.
I know I'm not making this up because other people swear they've heard it too, but for the life of me I can't remember where this quote is from.
