Finally home and its glorious. My flight was super delayed but once I finally got to my apartment, all was right with the world.
DC was good. I'm not going to say that I had a bad time. We had a lot of fun and I got to know new people much better. Gotta love the Medicine staff. Sunday night we continued the party and went over board. I'm not in college anymore. I need to remind myself of that. Monday we were quite slow getting up, and out of the rooms. After stuffing the storage unit, I spent the night at 1026 aka the Team Awesome Ranch and celebrated Bobby's 2 year. I cooked a fairly traditional Persian meal and we just hung out. I was pretty boring, but it was nice evening. I'm gonna miss being in the same city as them. Well... until June that is. Two years since Bobby came out. So crazy. I'll never forget that day. Ever. I've also never seen him so happy, and that's all that matters.
All in all, though, yesterday was pretty uneventful. Its odd to think that I'm a year older. Just looking back from this past year is nuts. The first person to call me was my dad. A year ago, he wouldn't talk to me. There were some notable people that "forgot", but as Brad put it, I should just concentrate on all those that remembered. I blame facebook. I got a lot of random birthday wishes from people that I rarely talk to. I'm contemplating taking the birthday off for next year. Kinda vindictive, I know. Birthday's are a big deal to me after having been forgotten so many times. I was a little miffed at Charles for not wanting to go out last night, but I was too tired to care. I know its not a big deal, birthdays happen all the time, but I guess coming home after being gone so long on your birthday makes it weird.
This weekend is turning out to be crazy. I can't wait. I'm sad that Kevin can't come down, but I guess it makes sense. At least some of MSU is going to the final four even if they aren't playing. I finally found my dress yesterday with Katie. Its fire engine red. hehehehehe... I'm so excited.
BTW... who's excited for baseball? I am!
